Cod: nutritional values

Cod (Gadus Morhua) contains vitamins A, B, C and D, as well as magnesium, potassium and calcium among the mineral salts.

The benefits of fish proteins are well known, the consumption of omega-3 fatty acids contained in fish like cod reduce the risk of heart disease and the loss of the immunological function.


Contains 300 grams of phosphorus and 60 grams of magnesium. It is a source of glutamic acid, active iodine, potassium and vitamin c and vitamin pp. Cod liver has the highest protein content of all known livers of meat and fish.
